⚠️ Note about Flickering (Manual Cars)
- On some vehicles, the reverse light circuit is controlled by CANBUS.
- CANBUS often sends a pulsed voltage signal to monitor bulb condition.
- When connected directly, this pulsing can cause the camera image to flicker, roll, or cut out, especially when the engine is running.
Solution:
- Install a flicker filter (CANBUS stabiliser) or a relay.
- The relay allows the reverse light circuit to act only as a trigger, while the camera is powered from a stable 12V feed (e.g. ignition or accessory).
- This ensures the camera receives a constant, clean voltage → stable image with no flicker.
Extra Settings
- Reverse Option Delay: Adjust camera display time (0–15 seconds).
- Front Camera Mirror / Rear Camera Mirror: Toggle ON/OFF as needed.
- Radar Options: Ensure Reverse Radar ON if using OEM sensors.
